Two New Polio Patients Listed
Two new polio patients entered St. Clare hospital for treatment in the isolation ward. Clifford Bobb, 38, of Evansville, with spinal and bulbar form, is the father of the first St. Clare polio patient in this zone, Mary Bobb, age 20. Ronald Hill, two and one half, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hill, 2319 15th Avenue, was taken to the ward at noon. he is the second Monroe case this year but the first treated at St. Clare. All patients are reported in satisfactory condition. Other patients at the hospital include Kathleen Collins, 2. Roy James St. John III, 6. and Bernice Wiebel, with other family members showing various symptoms but not hospitalized. State report shows 33 new infantile paralysis cases in the week, bringing 1952 total to 114. Racine County has five cases, Milwaukee and several counties have four, others have two or one.
