He previously served as field worker, intern pastor, and field missionary for Lutheran bodies in Illinois and Pennsylvania before arriving in Quincy Illinois to organize Christ Lutheran Church.

Tragedy Strikes Montoya Family in 17 Days
In Kansas City Missouri the Pablo Montoya family endures three fatalities in 17 days. Pablo Montoya, a Kansas City Southern Railroad track worker, was killed by a train on July 10. His father Juan Montoya, 79, died in a hospital Wednesday. Later Wednesday night a bicycle collision killed Pablo’s son Ralph Montoya, 15, when his head struck the pavement.
