Barn Fire Kills Three Children in Ozaukee County
Three of seven Suchla children died when a barn on their rented Ozaukee County farm burned before firefighters arrived. Richard eight Sandra six and Steven four were named as victims. Fire Chief Paul Meyer said he heard the children screaming and the parents shouted for help.

Outstanding Young Dairy Couple From Belleville Sealed for Chicago
Duane Bollig and his wife Mrs. Bollig of Route 1 Belleville have been named the 1963 outstanding young dairy couple of PMA District 19. They will represent the district in Chicago August 19 20 competing with 17 couples from PMA districts in Wisconsin Illinois and Indiana. They run a 125 acre farm with a 48 cow Holstein herd including 37 milk cows. Bollig serves as Dane County ASCS chairman and is a former Day ton 4 H Club member with multiple awards. They have two children Randy John 4 and Julie Ann 3.

In Darlington the annual school district meeting approved an advisory referendum to enlarge and modernize the building at up to 225000 dollars by about 60 votes. A second advisory vote favored a grade school at up to 375000 dollars, with 440 430 on the site of the present high school. Nearly 1500 voters turnout. New board members are J. M. Amenda George Larson and W. K. McDaniel for three years. Electors also approved a 400000 tax levy and a 582135 50 budget.
