Monroe City Council approves higher weed cutting and tavern hours
The Monroe City Council voted 6 to 2 to raise weed cutting rates to 20 per hour for power mowers and 12 50 for handmowers and to extend tavern closing hours to 1 a.m. on Sundays and all days except Fridays and Saturdays. The Aug 17 public hearing was set for the ordinance.
