Fisherman Hit By Stray Bullet Near Brodhead
John Faherty 29 of Milwaukee was shot in the ankle while fishing northwest of Brodhead. A slug was removed at a local doctor’s office after eight youths 13 to 17 fired at a tin can, then returned home as police lectured them. Faherty was treated at St. Clare hospital and released, then staying with his sister in Monroe.

Six Teams Enter Southern Wisconsin Swimming Relays
