The park and recreation department hosts an On Wheels Parade for children at Recreation Park tomorrow at 1 p m. Attendees may decorate bicycles wagons and tricycles and prizes will be awarded. The notice follows last Friday’s Hobo Hike to Tarzan City which drew 115 hobos and provided watermelon and treats.

Three Injured In Area Crash In Spring Grove Township
Three persons injured in an intersection collision on County Trunk 6 at Town Center Road in Spring Grove Township at 6 04 p m yesterday. Clinton Zettle Jr Route 2 Brodhead driver of one car sustained bruised knees and his father a bump on the head and cut knees. Harry C Newcomer Route 1 Juda driver of the other car suffered broken blood vessels a bump on the head and bruised knees. Front end damage heavy to a car driven by William Gary Stovall 18 Monticello two miles from intersection with Highway 59. Deputies called it a rear end collision and hit and run. Stovall said he was behind an Illinois car which sped up then slowed beside hay and children prompting his right turn and embankment swing into the Illinois car. The Illinois car did not stop.

The group discussed expanding the Recreation Park pool with cost estimates to be drawn up before meetings with the Board of Public Works.
