Grunow Dies in Chicago Hotel Room
William C. Grunow, 58, pioneer radio maker who built and lost a fortune, was found dead on a 24th floor hotel room at the Stevens. A doctor said death was from a heart attack after an unidentified woman telephoned the hotel switchboard. Police said the death appeared natural. The rented room was linked to J. J. Davin of Val-Lo-Will Farms, Inc., a Lake Geneva chicken enterprise led by Grunow.
