Building permits issued in the first half of 1948 total $354,200 with 61 permits, ahead of 1947. residential, commercial, and garage projects distributed across 33, 10, and 17 permits respectively. The largest June permit is a $19,000 Badger Motors garage and sales room addition. other June permits include residential homes, a dry cleaning building, garages, and a chapel for Mt. Olive Lutheran church.
