Rogers heads to Paris to sign Vietnam peace pact
Secretary of State William P. Rogers left Andrews Air Base for Paris to sign a four party Vietnam accord aimed at ending the war. The ceremony includes North and South Vietnam and the Vietcong with cease fire set for 6 p.m. CST Saturday and ICC forces to monitor the truce.

Agnew Plans Asian Tour To six Nations In Asia
Vice President Spiro T. Agnew will depart Sunday for South Vietnam and six other Asian states including Laos Cambodia Thailand Malaysia Singapore and Indonesia on a week long mission. The White House said the trip aims to discuss postwar relations and the U S role in Asia and to advocate peace and self determination for Southeast Asian nations. Laird outlines start of POW returns under Project Homecoming
