Burglars Hit Nine Wisconsin Schools in Weekend String

Burglars entered nine southwestern Wisconsin schools starting in Fennimore and moving north to Viroqua. About 300 dollars was taken from Fennimore High School. other raids hit Prairie du Chien Eastman Seneca Gays Mills Soldiers Grove Viroqua and Liberty Pole. Three schools in Dubuque Iowa were also entered.

New Deposit Rules Emerge For Withheld Taxes

Commerce Clearing House reports new withholding tax rules for calendar months beginning after January 31. Employers with $2000 or more in withheld taxes at quarter end must deposit within three banking days. Smaller firms with $200 or more in a month deposit by the 15th of the following month.
