Senior Citizens Apartments Open in Monroe Plan

Monroe Housing Authority executive director Glen Schreier says applications are still being accepted for 85 low cost elderly apartments in Monroe. Completion target is March with about 80 pre registrations acceptable. regular forms to be collected in two to three weeks and tenants assigned thereafter. Rent starts at 38 dollars for a single, 46 for a couple, with heat light and water included. Telephones and personal TVs allowed. open house planned before move in. The building has three floors with TV rooms board rooms and a community room plus craft and party spaces. Each unit includes stove refrigerator draperies shower curtain garbage disposal and a bathroom heat lamp. TO HALL OF FAME Musial and Campanella elected to Baseball Hall of Fame.

Burglary at Timm's Service Station In Brodhead

Brodhead police investigate a burglary at Timm's Service Station discovered at 11 30 p m. Entry was through a window in the men's bathroom. Stolen items include 50 cents in change and two or three packs of cigarettes. The break in occurred between 9 30 and 11 30 p m yesterday.

Off To A Flying Start Minstrel Show Set For April 1969

The Madcap Minstrel Show plans four performances in April 1969 with dates April 16 17 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. Naomi Barnard directs with Pat Barnard arranging music and the end men returning in top shape.
