Court Frees Posey Began Beloit Fire Case
Beloit college student Stephen Dykstra Posey, 24, who admitted setting a half million dollar fire that destroyed the chapel five years ago, has been ruled sane and discharged from court custody. Judge Arthur F. Luebke cited opinions of four psychiatrists that Posey is ready to resume a normal life. Posey has been in mental institutions or on parole since February 11, 1954 and has worked for a Madison music firm since June 1957. He formerly lived in Willmette, Illinois.
