Retired Shop Barber Adolph Sery Dies at 76
Adolph J. Ed Sery 76 formerly of Monroe died at 3 15 p m yesterday at St Clare hospital after several years illness. He retired from barbering Aug 1 1945 due to blood pressure and focused on home life. Born Whitewater Aug 19 1875 he learned barbering with his father and ran his own shop in Monroe. He played flute in Bast and Booth orchestra and city bands. Survivors include wife and son in Muskegon plus sister and brother and two grandchildren. Services tomorrow at Shriner Neushwan der funeral home with burial in Greenwood cemetery.
