MADISON The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture will boost its tuberculosis program for cattle. Donald N. McDowell announced the campaign at a budget hearing. The department sought 3.51 million dollars. after TB rise, Gov. Nelson recommended adding 201 thousand 785 dollars to the request.

Andrew Douglas Dies in Madison
Andrew S. Douglas 72 of Madison and former Monroe resident died after a brief illness in a Madison hospital. He served with the 1211th Field Artillery in World War I and worked at the Veterans Administration hospital Mendota and the USAF Institute before retiring in 1957. He is survived by his wife Helyn two sons and a daughter and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Frautschi funeral home with VFW military rites at Forest Hill Cemetery.
