Monroe Choir to Perform at Rockford Youth Festival
The Wesley Choir from First Methodist Church of Monroe will join the 7th annual Youth Choir Festival in Rockford Illinois on Sunday February 28 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The 25 member group directed by Mrs Clarence Seaton will sing thirteen anthems and three hymns with Mr Allen Elmquist directing this year and Mrs Arthur Johnson as organist. About 15 churches participate and around 600 children are expected.

Second Negro Was Surprised When Arrested
