Mrs Mayme Murphy Fardy 52 formerly of Monroe was found dead at her Madison home by her son as he returned from school. Death attributed to heart disease with no prior warning. Born August 12, 1893 in Monroe, she graduated Monroe High School and Valparaiso University. Surviving include her husband William Fardy, a son Billy, two daughters Mrs Wallace Ostby and Alice, her mother Mrs Charles Murphy, a sister Mrs Gerald Ryan, and brothers Arthur Murphy and Thomas Murphy. Last rites in Madison at Joyce home, burial in Calvary Cemetery.
