The Monroe Theatre Guild stages Twelve Angry Women about a murder verdict by a jury of 13. Seven cast members are making their acting debuts while Nedra Santiago and Beverly Rule lead as the main opposing jurors with Cindy Babler providing steady balance.
The cast delivers distinct viewpoints in the jury room drama with Debra Mann as guard and Alan Rule as judge. Director Mrs Kenneth Meyer again brings out strong performances as the production plays tonight and Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are at the door.
In Washington AP reports Congress moves legislation to enact President Carter's economic stimulus package. The plan includes $50 rebate checks expected to begin mailing in May and permanent tax cuts for 44.6 million households amid international irritants and shifts in U.S. policy toward Israel and Egypt.
