Clinton Woman Sentenced to Indiana Prison Term
Nancy Joy Brown, 22, of Clinton Wisconsin, was sentenced to 214 years in the Indiana Woman's Prison after pleading guilty to murderous assault in a case involving the shooting of a state trooper and a bystander. The January base price paid to Chicago market producers delivering 3.5 butterfat milk within a 70 mile zone is 3.68 per hundredweight, including a 0.27 pool premium over the 3.41 Order 41 blend. Dr. George W. Minshall 81, a longtime trainer and racer of trotting horses at Green County Fairs, died yesterday in a Viroqua hospital after a heart attack. A veterinarian of 55 years, he started racing at 16 and mentored many in the sport. His notable horse Ragged Jim won 72 of 76 races in 1946. Surviving are his wife, four daughters and two brothers. arrangements are set at Jacobson-Vance funeral home, Viroqua.
