Joseph B. Huber 83, president of Jos. Huber Brewing Co. in Monroe, died at St. Clare Hospital after illness starting Sunday. A German-born American brewer, he joined Monroe brewery in 1927, led expansion to four beers and 85 staff, and received the Monroe Distinguished Service Award in 1975. He leaves wife Rose, a son Fred, a daughter Mary Ann Cummins, a sister, 11 grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Burial at Calvary Cemetery with services Thursday.
