Local Champs Lead Cheesemakers Toward WIAA Regional Meet
Coach Ralph Neale sends two Badger Conference wrestling titlists and several Cheesemakers hopefuls to the WIAA regional meet in the high school gym. Ed Anderson with a 9-0 conference record seeks 112 pounds, while David Pick competes at 145 and Butch Anderson has state meet pedigree. Preliminary rounds begin at 1 pm with finals at 7 and 8 pm as Madison West, Middleton, Wisconsin High, Judo, Oregon and Monroe participate. Winners advance to Stoughton for sectional. state meet on Feb 22-23 follows.
