In Janesville an infant girl born December 28 died Thursday when a second floor bedroom caught fire. Parents Richard and Mrs Meredith escaped with two other children, ages one and three, but could not save Roxanne as flames and a vaporizer caused the mattress to ignite and spread quickly in her room.
