Vehicle injures New Glarus girl in hit and run
A 15 year old New Glarus girl, Alice Mueller, was struck on Highway 69 south of New Glarus by an unidentified late model car and left at the scene. Mrs Beach 70 Cadiz Township Dies En Route to Hospital
Mrs. Fred Beach age 70 of Cadiz Township died at 2 45 p m yesterday while being taken to St Clare hospital. She had been ill three years. Born in Pommering Germany March 23 1884 she was daughter of William and Tina Klemm. She and Fred Beach married February 7 1905 in Winslow and farmed in Clarno before moving to Monroe in 1930 and Cadiz in 1940. Surviving are her husband, one daughter Mrs Earl White Clarno and three sisters Mrs Emil Mann and Mrs Frank West Cadiz and Mrs Emil Holznagel Winslow. She was preceded in death by her parents three sisters and a brother in infancy. She was confirmed in Richland Salem church McConnell. Services Friday at 1 30 p m at Shriner Neu Shwander funeral home with Rev Paul C Kehle officiating burial in Greenwood cemetery.
