A C Chambers 44 died at Green County Hospital from a heart condition after a three year illness. Born Monroe April 6 1902 he was son of Charles and Nettie Chambers. He attended Monroe High School class of 1920 and Ripon College class of 1924 and was active in athletics. He taught in Delavan and Best Semer Michigan and South Wayne before later working as a hotel clerk in Florida and Wisconsin. Surviving are his brother John A Swampscott Mass and three sisters Ruth Waterloo Ia Mrs Myron Stair Monroe and Mrs G B Ryan Gering Nebr. Last rites set for tomorrow 2 pm at Stuessy funeral home with Rev Ralph Kofoed officiating and burial at Greenwood cemetery.
