Monroe star Curran scores 22 as Monroe trims Fort Atkinson late but the Fort squad holds a 60 to 53 win. Jacobson leads Fort with 19 points while Monroe fights from a 38-25 deficit to stay within reach.

Manitowoc Lincoln high school's wrestling team dominated Green Bay West in a 57 to 1 dual meet. Lincoln won all 12 matches, six by pins, as West was penalized one team point for unsportsmanlike conduct by its coach.
Monticello and New Glarus hold top spots in Mini and Maxi divisions as Aeschliman of Albany leads scoring at 28.1 and Lederman of Brodhead is second with 24.9. After three Maxi Mini rounds the Mini leads 9 6 in games with Argyle and Black Hawk as strong contenders. The MHS wrestling team remained unbeaten in duals with a 38 14 win over Fort Friday night in the Blackhawk gym. Mark Chandler and Dave Gordon pinned for Monroe and Mike Miller and Randy Wyss won to push records to 9 0 and 8 1. The two teams meet in Monroe on January 5 in the season’s feature clash.
