Cancer Education Van To Visit Lafayette County Areas

The Lafayette County unit of the American Cancer Society will bring a cancer education van with a two minute slide program to Darlington Benton South Wayne Argyle and Blanchardville during the week of December 23 to 28. The display shows smoking risks with color photo micrographs and a tape narrative comparing cancerous and normal tissue. The exhibit projects nationwide locations and stresses that thousands of teens become regular smokers daily and lung cancer deaths have surged.
