Industry Will Aid Warren Economy
Warren residents gained a manufacturing future after five men refused to accept Warren as a bedroom town. Janlin Plastics of Dubuque planned a sister plant here, securing a SBA loan with local backing. The Warren Development Corporation formed, with initial hiring expected at 25 and later 75 to 100, as construction began on a 120 by 170 foot brick facility on Lena Winslow Road near the Jo Daviess County Grounds.
