The Wisconsin Swiss and Limburger Cheese Producers Association announced winners led by John Steinmann of Moscow Center Cheese Co. for a Swiss wheel with 95 percent, Hans Geissbuhler of Lamont Central for Endless Swiss also 95, and Alfred Lehnherr of Pop Grove for brick. Judges were Glen Erbe, E. O. Lee, and Sylvan Kneubuehl. Awards to top winners will be given after the association meeting.

Leon Hauser Dies of Heart Attack at 47 in Spring Grove Township
Leon Agam Hauser 47 native of Juda died just before midnight at his farm home in Spring Grove Township after a heart attack. Born May 28, 1907 to Adam and Mary Blumer Hauser, he married Irene Sellow on Feb 19, 1935 at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church Monroe. Surviving are daughter Beulah Jean, his mother Mary Hauser of Brodhead, and three sisters. He served on the Davis school board and was a former supervisor. Services pending at Everson funeral home in Brodhead.
