Wisconsin dealers urged to back plate fee reform

Auto dealers facing abuse accusations were urged to improve public image during a Senate hearing on bills to raise dealer plate fees from 1 to 18.15 dollars, with Assembly revisions to 3 dollars failing earlier. The Wisconsin Education Association said a state agency ruled in favor of Carolyn Cooley, granting maternity leave and ordering Waterford School District to reinstate her with full pay. Monroe seeks one third representation on Green County Board

Monroe officials report the Attorney General recommends at least one third of Green County Board seats for Monroe. Air strikes hit three anti-aircraft sites near Laos border

Bloodmobile visit nets 179 pints in Monroe drive

The Red Cross Bloodmobile collected 179 pints in Monroe marking the visit as highly successful and 39 pints over the 140 pint quota. Donors hit milestones including Marion E. Mueller at 5 gallons and multiple others at 4 3 and 2 gallons. The next Monroe Bloodmobile visit is set for 150 pint quota in March.
