Top GOP official criticizes RNC actions post election
AP reports in Phoenix that co chair Thomas Evans denounced the high handed treatment by some RNC and CRP officials, urging credit for RNC work and objecting to a Dec 15 budget summons from Maurice Stans as tensions rise between party leaders and the Nixon reelection apparatus. Dole noted funds are still coming in and a possible debt near 200000 dollars.
