Firefighters battled two weekend blazes in Juneau County burning 2600 acres. Tax cut extension approved to cover 1977
Senate and House conferees agreed to extend through 1977 the individual tax cuts enacted last year. The package would also make permanent minimum and maximum standard deductions while a broader tax-revision bill progresses. Two Motorcycle Crashes Injure Local Riders This Weekend
Two separate weekend motorcycle crashes left James L. Atkinson 23 in Albany hospitalized with a broken arm and ankle injuries while Jeffrey H. Bahn 19 of Juda was treated as an outpatient for severe leg lacerations. Atkinson collided with a westbound car driven by Russell L. Teed 25 near New Glarus. Bahn hit a car driven by Glen G. Rosenstiel 63 west of Browntown after the driver turned into a field driveway.
