Wisconsin public school costs rise to 896 per pupil

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction forecast on Wednesday that the average cost to educate a public school pupil will rise from 676 to 896 for 1972-73. About 1,500 visiting firefighters are expected in Monroe for the 34th annual Fall Fire School of the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois Firemen’s Association at the Green County Fairgrounds. The two day event features demonstrations on booster lines portable tanks and special devices, a large equipment parade, and an afternoon program open to the public with admission charged for men.
