A two vehicle crash on Mills Street in Juda wounded four people including Mrs. Ernest Lehmann with a fractured knee and in good condition at St. Clare Hospital. Others injured were Sandy Grossen, Mrs William Arn, and Miss Inez Weaver. A second mishap on Fifth Street left no injuries. Five youths from rural Mt Horeb were hurt in a car pickup collision near Daleyville with serious injuries to Ted Miess and August Moen. An earthquake in Turkey killed 34 and affected four provinces.
