An eight man gang hijacked a U S mail truck in Randolph and Plymouth with a police impersonator among the thieves. About 1.5 million dollars in sealed bags were taken in three staged stops before four cars transported the loot. Federal officials said banks shipping the funds would bear no losses. The robbery follows a professional, low profile method cited by the FBI.
