Auto Crash Kills Brooklyn Woman
Mrs. Gordon Dreher of Brooklyn, 40, was killed in a two car crash near Quinn South Dakota late Saturday. Her daughter Janet 13 and son Brian 10 are in Rapid City hospital in fair condition. Husband and another son Robert 16 uninjured. Two others Mrs. Nick Caspers and her son Nick Jr. 10 of Quinn are hospitalized at Phillips. Caspers car was turning left onto a side road when the crash occurred.

Seven Die In Wisconsin Weekend Mishaps
The weekend brought a series of fatal Wisconsin crashes claiming seven lives. Dennis Winters, 25, of Weyauwega died when his car left U.S. 10 and rolled in a ditch. In Door County a two car crash killed a 37 year old Stoughton woman and a 6 year old Illinois girl, injuring 14. Other victims included a Palatine youth, a Florida woman, a Kiel man crushed under a hay wagon, and additional prior-listed fatalities in Green Bay and Cumberland. The year’s toll rose to 515.
