Gottlieb Lehnherr 75 of New Glarus died Saturday at 10 30 p m in St Clare hospital of a heart attack suffered three hours earlier at his New Glarus home He had worked in the lumbering industry around Marshfield for 35 years He was born in Wimmiss Switzerland came to the United States at 18 He married Margaret Lehnherr June 19 1900 They later moved to Wood County and were active in lumber farming and monument businesses In 1949 they moved to New Glarus He is survived by his widow two daughters Mrs Arthur Anderson and Mrs Hermina Hager of Appleton three sons Fred Marshfield Rudy Paolin and Herman Madison and nine grandchildren Services will be Tuesday at 2 p m at Zentner funeral home Rev A R Achtemeier Monticello will officiate and burial will be in the Swiss Evangelical and Reformed cemetery.

Mrs. John Marty Dies at Monticello
Mrs. John Marty 94 longtime Mt. Pleasant township resident died at her Monticello farm home after a two week illness due to old age. Born Anna Babler in 1855 she married John Marty in 1878 and was a longtime church member. She leaves two daughters six sons 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren with services at Zwingli Evangelical and Reformed church. Burial will be in Highland cemetery with six grandsons as pallbearers.
