Edna Stackpole 83 of Winslow area and Monroe died at 2 10 AM in St. Clare Hospital Monroe after a long illness. She was born Eda Gutzmer June 10 1882 in Winslow Township Illinois married March 25 1908 to John Brown Stackpole and farmed near South Wayne before moving to Monroe in 1932. Surviving include two daughters Ethel Stauffer Monroe Ruth McConnell Wiola a son Ward A Monroe a brother Otto Gutzmer Monroe and four grandchildren. Services Friday 1 30 PM at St nessy Funeral Home with Rev James C Plymire officiating Burial in Blaisdell Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday.
