Benjamin Thorpe Atter 70 of Argyle died at 3 45 p m Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be at Erickson funeral home at 1 30 p m and at 2 p m in the Argyle Methodist church with Rev Stoneman officiating. He was born March 13 1876 in Argyle town, married to Matilda Barmaster March 20 1901, and lived on a farm near Argyle before moving to town. He belonged to the Argyle Methodist church Modern Woodman lodge Royal Neighbors and suffered a heart ailment for eight weeks. He is survived by his mother Esther Atter Argyle three children Mrs Irving Goodman Darlington, George Argyle, and Donald Madison two sisters Mrs Charles Sweeney Warren and Mrs Herman Wahler Argyle and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers: James Ray Ben Andrews Will Marty Clayton Otsby Nick Quint Leo Flannigan. honorary pall bearers Fred Richter Frank Nall Lewis Nelson Jerry Olson. Burial in Woodland Cemetery Argyle.
