Monroe Common Council July 16 1968 Proceedings
City council convened with May or Ekum presiding. Various licenses, permits, and bids were discussed, including street dance on Maxwell Street, parade, parking stalls for a bicycle promo, and multiple electrical and milk dealer licenses. An annexation ordinance and a deed acceptance were approved, along with several resolutions and budget actions.
