Police on the Chicago South Side hunted for two day old Paul Joseph Fronczak, abducted from Michael Reese Hospital by a woman in a nurse’s disguise. Dora Fronczak, 28, said she was feeding her baby when the theft occurred. Chester Fronczak Jr. disclosed the loss to his wife. A cab driver reported a woman 40 to 50 with a baby rode to 35th Street and Union Avenue. The hospital does not routinely record footprints for newborns.

Greek Cypriots siege Kyrenia Pass and attack St Hilarion Castle

A skit by Den 1 featured Mrs. George Carpenter and Mrs. James Newman as den mothers. Awards by Cubmaster Arthur Whipple included Wolf honors for Leslie Johnson and Galen Carpenter, with Galen earning Wolf gold arrow. Wolf silver arrows to Bill Wagner, Walter Rufener and Gordon Rundle. three silver arrows to Fred Sulzer. Bear silver arrows went to Greg Nelson and Kirt Leuenberger, with Kirt also receiving his Lion book, denner peto, Walter Rufener and assistant denner to Mike Newman. Next meeting will be a family picnic.

Wanted Man Seized By Officer Wrestler Helps Capture
Frank Dumont, 42, on FBI ten most wanted list for burglary and assault of a 14 year old girl, was captured in Tucson after a manager reported a break in. Officer Richard Milne tried to restrain Dumont while Favero, a former Notre Dame wrestler, applied a hammer lock to subdue him.
