Oceanographer Limbaugh Dies in Marine Dive Off Marseilles
Monroe friends report the death of Conrad Limbaugh, oceanographer of the Scripps Institute, who disappeared during a March 20 undersea dive off Marseille. His body was recovered 350 feet from the last sighting. Funeral and burial were held in Marseille with international oceanographers in attendance. Limbaugh, in his 30s, leaves a widow Nan Bolender and four young children. family home is in California.

Mrs. Conrad Dies Pneumonia Victim
Mrs. Frank S. Conrad 86 of 1114 14th avenue died at St. Clare hospital at 9 38 a m after a brief illness from pneumonia. Born August 21 1873 in Egerkingen Switzerland she married Mr. Conrad in 1892 and they moved to Monroe in 1894. Her daughter Lena Conrad co publisher of The Monroe Evening Times survives with nieces and nephews in Switzerland. Services Saturday at 845 am Stuessy funeral home and 9 am at St Victor's Church with burial in Calvary cemetery Rosary at 8 pm tomorrow.

Swiss-born Monroe woman dies after heart ailment
Mrs Casper Schild 67 of 524 20th avenue Monroe died at 6 45 pm yesterday at St Clare hospital after entering Tuesday with a heart ailment. Born Eliza Wenger in Canton Bern Switzerland July 17 1892 she came to the US in 1914 and settled in Monroe. She married Casper Schild Jan 24 1918 and they farmed on the Ludlow farm 30 years before moving to Monroe in 1948. Survivors include husband three children Walter E Schild Tomah and two daughters Mrs George F Busjahn Monroe and Mrs Kenneth F Sonnenberg Belleville four sisters and five half sisters in Switzerland and six grandchildren. Funeral 2 pm in Stuessy funeral home with Rev Paul H Olm officiating burial Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call after noon tomorrow.

About 50 percent of the nation’s timepieces will move forward one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday as Daylight Saving Time begins.
