C F Karstaedt of Beloit longtime co publisher of the Beloit Daily News and former vice president of The Monroe Evening Times died Wednesday after a four month illness. He was born September 6 1888 in Elkhart Ind and had served as secretary treasurer of Beloit Daily News and as an officer of the Monroe paper for 20 years. He was active in Masonic and civic groups and is survived by his son Martin and two grandsons. Services will be held tomorrow at 3 pm in the Rosman Uehling Kinzer funeral chapel.
