Injured by Bull at Farm Yard Incident
Walter Sutter, 62, Route 4, suffered a dislocated right shoulder when knocked down by a bull while releasing cattle through the farm yard gate. His nephew Robert Sutter chased the animal away with a pitchfork. Walter Sutter is expected to be released tomorrow from St. Clare hospital.

Area Citizens Aid Meuret Family After Fire Tragedy
Mrs Lea Meuret and her four grandchildren found housing west of Woodford after their five room frame house burned east of Woodford. Residents donated food, furniture, clothing and money as drives collected at Homer Lovelace hardware in Woodford and Don Lovelace at the Link Store in Monroe. The Steele couple contributed a dining set and beds while other items and a food drive continued, with Fred Meuret and Robert aiding in moving into the Field house. Mrs Meuret, formerly of Chicago, has lived in Woodford six years.

Two Monroe youths escaped injury when their car rolled over on Highway 69 north of Monroe at 8 30 p m yesterday total loss reported. Linda Symons 17 Darlington suffered cuts bruises and shock after being thrown from her car on Highway 23 south of Darlington. Mullen Lafayette County traffic officer said the car rolled and skidded 182 feet into a ditch.

Torkel G. Homme, 73, of Daleyville, died at home. Born January 18, 1884, in Sesidahl Norway, he immigrated in 1906 and married Ingabor Heggland in 1909. The State Supreme Court ruled the will of Mrs. Andrena Knutson of rural Blanchardville valid. The decision affirmed a 1956 Dane County ruling. John F. Schnitzler, 74, longtime Monroe area resident, died at 7:50 a.m. at St. Clare hospital after being admitted earlier as a medical patient. Born June 17, 1882 in Clarno Township to John and Mary Schnitzler, he married Mathilda Hartman in Monroe on Oct. 2, 1909. He worked as a bricklayer and stone mason for Alvin F. Rote Co. He leaves his wife, a daughter Mrs. John Dickson of Monroe, and three grandchildren. Services 1:30 p.m. Friday at Shriner-Neushwander funeral home. burial Greenwood Cemetery.
