Dennis Timmons, 85, Clarno Township retired farmer and businessman, died at 3:30 a.m. today in a Monroe hospital after six years of heart illness. Born February 3, 1872 in Cadiz Township, he married Mina Millman in 1897 and lived in Clarno, then ran shoe stores in Mason City Iowa and various Iowa towns. Survived by two sons James and Ralph, two daughters Mrs A. H. Tennkessen and Mrs Lugg, a sister Mrs Henry Hogan, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceded by wife November 30, 1953. Funeral services Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Shriner-Neushwan der funeral home.
