Progress on water works and sewerage project advances
Work on the water works and sewerage system progresses with about 3100 feet of sewer laid and water mains extended from the reservoir to Main Street. Engine size limits slow dam work, but a larger engine is forthcoming. 1200 feet of mains were laid Tuesday, averaging 800 feet daily when material permits. The septic tank should be ready for concrete by week’s end and likely finished next week.
