Palmyra Club accused of coercion and rival tactics
A Palmyra Commercial Club is accused of attempting to coerce a nonmember businessman to join or risk a competing business in his line. The Monroe City Democrat defends local businessmen, while the Palmyra Spectator disputes a defamatory tale about Resch and Rogers & Thompson. Local notices include sales, trades, and social items.
