The notice advertises the Great Monroe City Fair dated August 8 to 11. It invites items from farmers and for farmers, with Col W T Youell to cry sales via Elbert Yates at the F and M Bank. A Jersey bull is advertised for sale at the farm with a $1 cash fee and return privilege from E J Alexander.
Miss Mary Ruth Brown daughter of Mrs Emma C Brown and Edward Morris Hodgdon of Hannibal were married at the Presbyterian church at high noon on Wednesday June 21 Rev E McNair officiated. The ceremony featured pink and white flowers, organ music, and a shower bouquet for the bride. Guests included out of town visitors from Hannibal St Louis Quincy and Nevada. After the ceremony the couple planned to live in Hannibal after October first.
Marshall Mahan to Dulany Mahan and Miss Sara E Marshall wed at 1000 Broadway home of the groom's parents Rev Levi Marshall officiated due to groom's grandmother's illness. Small ceremony with immediate family. couple to tour colleges before returning to Hannibal and making 1000 Broadway home after September 1st.

Communion 10 50. Evening worship at 8. Woman's Mission Society meets Friday at 2 30.
