Death of Lord H. Redman in Monroe City, 1902
Lord H. Redman born Nelson County Kentucky June 1 1623 died at his Monroe City home June 1 1902 on his 79th birthday. He lived in Missouri since youth, taught at age 10, sought gold in California, married Lucy A. Moore in 1855 and had nine children, seven living. A Baptist and former Missouri legislator 1872 to 1876, he resided in Monroe City from 1883 until death. Funeral June 3 at First Baptist Church, burial at Bethlehem Church.
