Delaney Ties Knot in Kirksville Home Wedding
Miss Lillian Delaney and Marvin Tritch wed Saturday afternoon at the bride’s parents home in Paris. Delaney, a former local teacher, and Tritch plan to settle on 640 Nebraska acres after a Wabash departure for a Kirksville visit. Attendants included E N Griffiths and wife and Miss Susie Burditt. Knights of Columbus hosted a notable meeting with Hannibal Council members and K C Choral Club, featuring remarks by local leaders and a luncheon before the group returned home.

Members of Mrs S A Millers class gathered at Mrs Ralph Wood's home for a fine dinner and a relaxing Sunday. All but three attended and a pleasant day was reported. Monroe City's Flour Mill Burned. Call to Rebuild by Stock Offer
On January 20 the Monroe City Flour Mill was destroyed by fire. McFarland Brothers seek local stock subscriptions, $50 per share, to form a corporation rebuilding the mill and an ice plant, arguing the project will draw business, keep farmers local, and support a Greater Monroe with continued water works, sewer, and 24 hour electric service. A public meeting of business leaders is urged to decide quickly.
