Wages to be reduced in postwar readjustment

Rebekahs Elect Officers at Monroe City Meeting

Hog Prices to Continue Through December

The Missouri Division of the Food Administration announces that after consultation with the Agricultural Advisory Board sub committee and special swine producers representatives and with the packers the November hog price basis will continue through December. Lighter hogs should be held back for the next thirty days to prevent price pressure from excessive receipts. All spare hog products will be shipped abroad in December and January and thereafter.

Missouri Products Win Big at Soil Exposition in Kansas City

Missouri products captured 111 prizes at the International Soil Products Exposition in October. Missouri led in corn apples and sweet potatoes with many prizes, earning third in collective exhibits while fruits ranked first overall.
