Grange Meeting Showed Interest in Laying Hen Talk
The Grange gathering on Saturday drew strong turnout for C. S. Brewster’s talk on selecting laying hens. Brewster and about fifteen attendees visited McCaleb’s chicken ranch to assess a flock, with no subsequent drop in egg production observed. Plans to cull flocks next Monday are underway, with names left at the creamery.
